Sandy gave us the all important lift to the airport Friday at around 5... thanks Sandy!  I had a headache most of the afternoon, mainly from not sleeping the night before.  A grande latte at the airport Starbucks took care of that!  Its a good thing that we got to the airport with lots of time to spare, because it took a bit to get Drew through security.  His backpack caused some alert ansddecondary screening.  Hmmmm... not one, but TWO knives in his backpack!  The screener was really nice about the whole thing.  Drew always gets selected for secondary screening whenever he goes through Heathrow.     If this was Heathrow, I'm pretty sure we would still be there!

We had a 4 Hour connection at YVR, so mumsy came over for a visit and supper at the White Spot.  It was a great visit,a lovely send off.  YVR is a great airport for a long layover.  Great public art, and some nice areas to sit and relax.  And once I figure out how to upload photos (once I have had some sleep), I can show you one!
